Mystery surrounds the death of a student who collapsed at a nightclub in Hull last Tuesday. Chloe Leach, who was in her final year at Lincoln University, died in hospital after nightclub staff failed to revive her.

Police initially thought her drink had been spiked but toxicology tests found no evidence. It is still not known exactly why the 21-year-old student collapsed but she did suffer from a pre-existing medical condition.

Friends of Chloe have set up a memorial site on Facebook. The group, called “Remembrance of Chloe Lauren Leach RIP Angel”, has more than 900 members. Comments on the group describe Chloe as a lovely girl, who was always full of life.
