Two teenagers must save an underground city (of Ember…surprisingly) before its power fails. Rated as PG the film seems lost; with a 12A certificate, it could have flourished. As a result, the sci-fi visuals go to waste, the landscapes look amazing, but the performances don’t quite hold the film together.
