Pluto Online is the online student media for the University of Central Lancashire Student Union.

It was set up in 2006, with Nafisa Sayani as Online News Editor and James Gordon as Online Sports Editor. It was the first time that the union’s newspaper content had been published online.

In 2007, James moved to the position of Digital Editor, and oversaw the re-design of the site for the new academic year. However, the interest in the site wasn’t as high as expected.

So in 2008, the website is back with a fresh look, and hopes to provide the platform for all students to interact with each other and Pluto Online. The site includes all the content from Pluto and PR1, as well as video feeds from PS-TV and an audio link from Frequency.

Users can interact by leaving comments on all stories and by sharing links on Facebook and other social networking and bookmarking sites.
