Unlike previous Lego games, Lego Batman doesn’t parody a recognised story. Instead it uses a general “villains have escaped” story set in Gotham City. Story consists of six acts, the first three as the dynamic duo and the latter as villains who have unique powers. Core game play and graphics remain the same, albeit with a Batman twist, so if you didn’t like the other Lego games, chances are you won’t like this.

Despite numerous criticisms and lots of empty seats, Hollywood seems determined to try and nail a decent movie based on a video game. Most of these films are so bad that the Street Fighter movie actually turned out to be one of the better ones, especially considering serial game-license butcherer Uwe Boll and his unwatchable crap-o-rama.
 
It’s not all bad though. The first Tomb Raider was a decent effort and Silent Hill did the original games proud, by using elements of the games’ history and special effects, showing the town changing …

The lovable hedgehog with attitude finally returns in a seemingly endless battle with Dr. Eggman.  Powered by a unique graphics (“hedgehog”) engine, the sense of speed has been given a cinematic overhaul.  During the day Sonic rushes through stages as per usual, but at night transforms into a slower more powerful “werehog”. Sonic’s best chance to redeem himself for years. Fingers crossed.
