After a whirlwind eight months that has seen a fashion show, a protest and two prestigious acknowledgements for the University, the People and Planet Society is on the look-out for new recruits.

UCLan has become one of the most eco-friendly universities in the UK within the past twelve months according to a new green-league table. 

As part of UCLan’s Fairtrade fortnight, Jose Peralta, a banana producer from the Dominican Republic, visited students to explain how his community benefits from the Fairtrade scheme.
